Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield Appoints New Speciality Chef

APPOINTMENT

The Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield has announced the addition of B. Visu, also known as Chef Visu, as the new chef for Alto Vino, the hotel’s Italian restaurant. He has over 16 years of culinary expertise in prestigious star properties and well-known restaurants around Australia, the UAE, and India. Visu’s considerable experience positions him to boost the property’s dining experience.

Visu started his culinary career in 2009 as a commis chef at The Park Hotels in Chennai. He went on to work as a chef de partie at the Hyatt Regency in Chennai and Carluccio’s Abu Dhabi. Visu’s excellent culinary career has showcased his versatility in Western, Italian, Greek, and Mediterranean cuisines. His expertise in cost control, menu development, and current plating and presentation techniques, together with his ability to maintain the highest kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards, make him an invaluable member of the team.

He has also cemented his place on the culinary map with his work as sous chef at Aloft Perth, Paparazzi in Mandurah, and Best Western in Tamworth. Internationally, he has worked as a sous chef at the Majestic Hotel Tower and Omnia by Silvena Rowe in Dubai. His career is known for his successful pre-opening experiences, which make him an ideal candidate for creative culinary ventures.
