 The Ascott Limited has announced the appointment of Rohit Dar as the new Vice President & Head of South Asia.

Ascott has announced the appointment of Rohit Dar as Vice President & Head of South Asia, reinforcing its leadership team as it accelerates expansion across the region.

In his new role, Rohit will lead Ascott’s growth strategy and business operations across South Asia, focusing on expanding the company’s footprint, strengthening performance standards, and deepening stakeholder partnerships.

Rohit brings over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong track record across global brands. Prior to joining Ascott, he served as Senior Regional Director of Operations at Hilton India, where he oversaw a multi-brand portfolio across key markets in South India, driving business growth and enhancing owner relationships.

Earlier, he held General Manager roles with Marriott International’s leading properties such as The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace and Jaipur Marriott Hotel. He began his career with The Oberoi Group, where he spent 18 years across operational and corporate leadership roles.
