Anantara Golden Triangle Introduces New Mekong Explorer Pool and Family Suites

Nestled at the meeting point of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar, where misty hills overlook the Mekong River, Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort invites guests to discover its newly designed Mekong Explorer Pool Suite and Mekong Explorer Family Pool Suite. These accommodations offer a contemporary take on riverside living, inspired by the rich history of exploration along the Mekong River.

The suites expand the resort’s collection of nature-integrated stays, which also includes the Jungle Bubbles and the Mekong Explorer Tent. Set within 160 acres of forested highlands, mornings at the resort unfold with the sounds of elephants from the nearby sanctuary and views of the surrounding landscape.

Each suite features a private pool and outdoor deck, offering a serene space for relaxation amidst the changing moods of the river and forest. Inside, warm wood tones, elephant-inspired details, and curated artwork reflect the culture and natural beauty of the Golden Triangle region.

The Mekong Explorer Family Pool Suite spans 96 square metres, offering two interconnected rooms designed for families or small groups. The Mekong Explorer Pool Suite, measuring 64 square meters, features a split-level layout that strikes a balance between openness and privacy, making it ideal for couples or smaller parties.

Nightly rates start from USD 1,949 for the Mekong Explorer Pool Suite, inclusive of experiences such as dinner at SamSarn, the resort’s regional dining venue, and the Sky Bike adventure, offering elevated views of the surrounding rice fields, forest, and the meeting point of the three countries.

Guests can also book the suites as part of the Golden Triangle Luxury Explorer package, which includes return airport transfers, full-board dining, non-alcoholic beverages, minibar access, and entry to the Hall of Opium Museum. The package also features one signature activity per night, with options such as elephant experiences, cooking classes, spa treatments, and private yoga or Pilates sessions.

Through these new accommodations, Anantara Golden Triangle aims to offer guests a deeper connection with the region’s landscape and culture while maintaining comfort and thoughtful design.
