Amazing Green Fest 2025 Promotes Responsible Tourism in Thailand

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will host the Amazing Green Fest 2025 from 11–14 September at Sampran Riverside, Nakhon Pathom. Designed as a model for eco-friendly events, the festival showcases TAT’s commitment to meaningful travel, striking a balance between visitor experiences and social and environmental responsibility.

Open daily from 09.00 to 17.00 hrs., the programme combines exhibitions, workshops, marketplaces, and creative activities across eight themed zones, offering knowledge-sharing and opportunities for producers, suppliers, and consumers to connect in support of fair trade and long-term growth.

Key zones include:

  • Amazing Green Tourism – Presenting initiatives such as the Thailand Tourism Awards, Organic Tourism, and the Sustainable Tourism Goals (STGs) and STGs STAR programmes.

  • Amazing Green Market & Business Matching – Featuring more than 70 booths of organic products and crafts from community enterprises, along with business networking sessions. Participants include Lisu Lodge, MORE LOOP (Lamphun), the Mae Tha Community (Chiang Mai), and The Monrakmaeklong.

  • Amazing Green Stories – Sharing accounts from businesses and projects that prioritise environmental responsibility.

  • Amazing Green Taste – Showcasing sustainable food with over 30 vendors offering dishes made from seasonal and organic ingredients, including Maew Kin Pla, School Coffee, Tam Mee, and OmakaHed.

  • Amazing Green Playground – A family-friendly space with workshops and activities for children and youth to learn about responsible tourism.

  • Amazing Green Innovation – Featuring more than 10 exhibitors, including Thai Smile Bus, TOCA, and ION Energy, presenting technologies that encourage eco-friendly travel.

  • Amazing Green Workshop – Hands-on craft sessions using natural and eco-friendly materials, rooted in local knowledge.

  • Amazing Sharing Space – An open forum for discussions on sustainability, encouraging dialogue and practical takeaways.

The festival will also include over eight panel discussions and informal roundtables, covering topics such as developing homestays and measuring carbon footprints for low-carbon travel routes.

Culinary highlights feature two garden lunches led by chefs: Uncle Ree of Uncleree Farm, presenting dishes inspired by food for wellbeing, and Chef Black of Blackitch Artisan Kitchen, preparing menus with locally sourced ingredients.
