Alma Resort Vietnam Introduces ‘Discovery Camp’ for Kids

Alma, a beachfront resort in southern Vietnam, has launched Alma Discovery Camp, a new recreation and education facility designed to help children engage with nature, farm animals, and sustainable agriculture.

Located near the resort’s Nursery Garden, the camp is open to children aged 4–14 and offers hands-on learning through interactive farm visits and a dedicated museum. The experience encourages a better understanding of the natural world through exploration and play.

Children can visit the farm to pet and feed animals such as cows, goats, chickens, ducks, and rabbits. All animals are regularly vaccinated, with certificates provided. The farm is also home to various bird species.

The “Little Farmers’ Discovery Hall” museum features interactive exhibits on agricultural products, including coconut, coffee, fish, mango, pepper, rice, salt, and tea. Displays include real-life farm tools, products, and educational boards that explain their history and production.

Each tour ends with a Certificate of Completion for every child, a quiz game to review the session, and a Super Farm Explorer Certificate for the quiz winner.

Alma Discovery Camp is open daily, with guided tours available from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Priced at VND 500,000 per person, each tour includes aprons and hats for participants, animal feed for hands-on activities, and food sampling of local specialties such as dried mango, Vietnamese coffee, coconut cookies, rice cakes, and dried fish. Children also receive a traditional Vietnamese conical hat and a personalized certificate signed by the Chief Gardener.

The new camp adds to Alma’s range of family-oriented facilities, including the Alma Technology Experience Center, kids and youth clubs, cinema, water park, themed workshops, and VR games. The resort also offers programs like the “Hotelier Pastry Tour,” where children can learn about baking from the in-house culinary team.

Earlier this year, Alma introduced “Kids’ Themed Rooms,” featuring playful décor, themed bedding, towel art, and personalized welcome touches for young guests.
