Akasa Air to Launch Flights from Noida Airport from June 16
Akasa Air Expands Noida Airport Network with Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai Flights
Akasa Air will begin flight operations from Noida International Airport on 16 June, becoming the second airline to start services from the new airport.
The airport, inaugurated on 28 March, is scheduled to commence commercial operations on 15 June.
Akasa Air announced that it will operate daily flights connecting Noida with Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai from 16 June. The airline said it plans to gradually expand its network from Noida International Airport with additional domestic and international connections in the future.
The airline also confirmed plans to establish a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility within the airport premises, supporting its operational and engineering requirements.
IndiGo will be the first airline to begin operations from the airport, with services connecting Lucknow and Bengaluru from 15 June.
The launch of scheduled flights marks the beginning of commercial passenger operations at Noida International Airport, which is expected to improve air connectivity for the Delhi-NCR region and surrounding areas.
