Air India Launches Delhi To Hanoi Flights
Air India has inaugurated a five-times weekly non-stop service between Delhi and Hanoi, marking its entry into the Vietnamese capital. Hanoi becomes the airline’s second gateway in Vietnam after Ho Chi Minh City and its eighth destination in Southeast Asia.
The inaugural flight AI2390 departed Delhi at 01:20 hrs (IST) and arrived at Noi Bai International Airport at 07:20 hrs (local time). The flight was received by representatives from the Indian Embassy in Vietnam, airport officials, and airline staff.
Air India Hanoi Service Expands Vietnam Connectivity
The new service operates five times a week and complements Air India’s existing daily flights to Ho Chi Minh City. Travellers can now plan itineraries that include arrival in one city and departure from another, offering more flexibility for both leisure and business travel.
The Delhi–Hanoi route is operated using Airbus A320neo aircraft, configured with Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins.
The service also enables onward connections between Vietnam and destinations in the United Kingdom and Europe via Delhi, strengthening connectivity across regions.

Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India, said that Vietnam continues to see growing demand from Indian travellers, supported by leisure travel, business exchanges, and interest in multi-city trips.
