According to Kent Zhu, Chief Executive Officer, Accor Greater China, the opening reflects the group’s continued expansion in the region, particularly within the Yangtze River Delta and its connection to the Shanghai metropolitan area.

Hotel Features and Design

Sofitel Changzhou Hi-Tech District offers 293 rooms and suites that blend French and local Jiangnan influences. Interiors incorporate regional cultural elements alongside Sofitel’s established design approach.

The property includes approximately 4,000 square metres of event space, with ballrooms and meeting rooms suited for conferences and social gatherings. Additional facilities include a spa, swimming pool and fitness centre.
