Aarunya Nature Resort by Atmosphere Banepa Appoints Vishal Kumar as General Manager

Aarunya Nature Resort by Atmosphere Banepa has appointed Vishal Kumar as General Manager. In his new role, Kumar will be based in Nepal and will report to the Vice President – Operations.

He will oversee the resort’s operations and support its business objectives. Kumar brings more than two decades of experience in sales, marketing and operations across hospitality brands in India, Nepal, Bhutan and the wider South Asian region.

Before joining Aarunya Nature Resort, Kumar was associated with Radisson Hotel and Residences, Kathmandu, where he led business development initiatives, strengthened client relationships and expanded the property’s presence across luxury market segments. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions with IHCL SeleQtions, DusitD2 Yarkay Thimphu, Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts and IHG, among other hospitality brands.

Vishal Kumar brings over two decades of experience across sales, marketing, and operations in the hospitality industry, with exposure to markets including India, Nepal, Bhutan, and the wider South Asian region.

Prior to joining Aarunya Nature Resort, he was associated with Radisson Hotel and Residences, Kathmandu, where he led business development initiatives, strengthened client relationships, and expanded the property’s presence in luxury segments. His career also includes leadership roles with IHCL SeleQtions, DusitD2 Yarkay Thimphu, Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts, and IHG.

In his new role, Kumar will focus on managing day-to-day operations while contributing to the resort’s growth and positioning within the region’s hospitality landscape.
