The partnership is designed to provide members with more opportunities to earn rewards and enjoy recognition across both travel brands.

As part of the agreement:

  • Marriott Bonvoy members will be able to earn JAL FLY ON Points.
  • JAL Mileage Bank members will have an accelerated pathway to Marriott Bonvoy Elite status.
  • Members of both programmes will benefit from enhanced loyalty rewards across flights and hotel stays.

The initiative aims to create a more connected travel experience by linking air travel and accommodation benefits.

Strengthening Travel Experiences

The partnership reflects the shared focus of Marriott and Japan Airlines on expanding loyalty benefits and offering members greater flexibility when travelling.

By integrating rewards across both programmes, travellers will have more opportunities to progress through loyalty tiers and access additional travel privileges.

Supporting Travel in Japan and Beyond

The collaboration also strengthens connections between Japan and Marriott Bonvoy’s global hotel portfolio, while giving Japan Airlines customers access to expanded hospitality benefits through Marriott’s worldwide network.
