Saudia Group Leads June On-Time Performance

Saudia and flyadeal Rank First in June On-Time Performance

Saudia Group recorded strong operational results in June 2026, with both Saudia and flyadeal securing the top positions for on-time performance in their respective categories, according to the latest Cirium report.

The rankings were achieved during one of the busiest travel periods of the year, which included the post-Hajj travel phase and the start of the summer travel season.

Strong Operational Performance in June

According to Cirium’s June 2026 On-Time Performance report, Saudia operated 13,350 flights, achieving on-time arrival and departure rates of 92.38% and 93.02%, respectively.

Meanwhile, flyadeal operated 5,150 flights, recording an on-time arrival rate of 95.42% and an on-time departure rate of 96.63%, making it the highest-ranked airline in the Middle East and Africa for on-time performance.

Investment in Operations and Technology

The airline group said the results reflect the coordinated efforts of its airlines, employees and operational partners across the aviation network.

The group also highlighted its use of AI-powered digital systems to improve planning, forecasting, operational resilience and real-time decision-making, helping manage increased passenger traffic while maintaining schedule reliability.
