Air India Express Appoints Deba Prasad Patro as Senior Manager – Finance

Air India Express has appointed Deba Prasad Patro as Senior Manager – Finance. He is based in Gurugram.

Patro brings over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. In his new role, he will be involved in financial operations, process management, and supporting the organisation’s finance functions.

Prior to joining Air India Express, Patro was associated with PwC India, where he held multiple roles over a tenure of more than a decade. Most recently, he served as Manager – Finance Accounts, overseeing accounts payable and employee expense operations for domestic and international entities. His responsibilities included process automation, compliance with internal audit and SOX requirements, and team management.

Earlier in his career at PwC India, he worked across finance functions including accounts payable, reconciliations, provision accounting, lease accounting, and financial reporting.

Patro has also worked with Ozone Group as Senior Sales Account Executive and Sobha Ltd. as Senior Finance Executive, where he handled invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support.

In his current role at Air India Express, Patro will focus on finance operations, compliance, and process efficiency initiatives.
