Auko Eco-Wellness Lodges to Open in Phong Nha on 20 July
Auko Eco-Wellness Lodges Introduces Nature-Focused Stays in Phong Nha
Auko Eco-Wellness Lodges will open on 20 July 2026 along the Son River in Phong Nha–Ke Bang UNESCO World Heritage Site, Vietnam. Developed by Van Phu Real Estate Development JSC and operated by Lumina Wellbeing, the new retreat combines eco-conscious design, wellness experiences and nature-based activities in one of the country’s well-known natural landscapes.
The property has been designed with a focus on working with the surrounding environment. Elevated bamboo walkways, eco-tented lodges and the use of renewable bamboo, reclaimed timber and naturally ventilated materials help minimise the impact on the landscape while adapting to seasonal changes.
The retreat features 30 eco-wellness lodges, positioned in small clusters among native vegetation. The development follows the IFC Building Resilience Index (BRI) framework and has achieved EDGE Advanced certification, reflecting its emphasis on sustainable construction.
Guests can choose from three stay experiences.
The Open Way is the standard all-inclusive stay, allowing guests to enjoy the property at their own pace.
The Wild Way, launching in the fourth quarter of 2026, is a three-night adventure programme with guided outdoor experiences on scheduled dates.
The Still Way, also launching in the fourth quarter of 2026, is a four-night wellness programme led by practitioners and available on fixed dates.
All stays include full-board dining at Origin Restaurant, where menus feature seasonal produce, locally sourced ingredients, freshwater fish and regional Vietnamese flavours.
The wellness programme, created by Lumina Wellbeing, draws inspiration from the local landscape and traditional healing practices. Activities include hydrotherapy, yoga, sound healing, meditation, movement sessions and guided experiences in nature. Seasonal retreats and visiting wellness practitioners will also form part of the programme.
To celebrate the opening, Auko has introduced an opening offer valid for bookings and stays between 20 July and 20 December 2026. The all-inclusive package includes accommodation, a wild herb foot bath and reflexology treatment, a nature hydrotherapy experience, wellness sessions, river boating, jungle trekking, full-board dining with selected beverages and community activities.
Guests booking directly through the official Auko website will receive a 20% saving along with additional benefits. Those staying for three nights will receive complimentary homemade cookies; those staying for five nights will receive a private destination dinner; and guests staying for seven nights will receive complimentary private return transfers.
Bookings are now open for stays from 20 July 2026.
