The Sun Rose West Hollywood Appoints Kris Umstattd as General Manager

The Sun Rose West Hollywood Hotel has appointed Kris Umstattd as General Manager.

In his new role, Kris will oversee all aspects of the property’s operations, including its 149 guestrooms, 37 suites, spa, rooftop restaurant and pool, and the live music venue, Live at the Sun Rose.

Kris brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on the Los Angeles and Southern California market. His career includes sales and marketing roles with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels, Marriott, and Hyatt.
Most recently, he served as Regional Director, Sales and Marketing at Loews Hotels & Co., where he was responsible for overseeing sales strategies across multiple properties.
Kris holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and began his career in the hospitality industry at an early stage, gaining experience in hotel and restaurant operations.
The appointment reflects the property’s focus on managing operations and supporting its business strategy in the West Hollywood market.
