Emirates Celebrates Wimbledon with Special Inflight Experiences
Emirates is marking The Championships, Wimbledon 2026 by offering a range of themed experiences for passengers travelling between Dubai and the UK from 29 June to 12 July.
As the Official Airline Partner of Wimbledon, the airline has introduced a selection of Wimbledon-inspired food, beverages and entertainment across all cabin classes during the tournament.
Passengers can enjoy desserts featuring British strawberries, with menu options varying by cabin. First Class guests will be served honey cake with strawberry compote and clotted cream, while Business Class and Premium Economy passengers can enjoy a strawberry tart with pistachio sauce and strawberry yoghurt. Economy Class customers will be offered cream cheese mousse topped with strawberry compote and hazelnut streusel.
The Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge will serve strawberries and cream, Pimm’s cocktails and tennis-themed pastries. Emirates Lounges in Dubai and the UK will also feature British-inspired dishes, including fish and chips and coronation chicken, throughout the tournament.
Passengers can follow the live Wimbledon action on Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra, available on flights with the airline’s in-flight entertainment system. In addition to live coverage, travellers can access a wide range of films, television programmes, music and other entertainment during their journey.
First Class passengers will also receive Emirates-branded Wimbledon 2026 seasonal towels produced by Christy, the Official Towel Supplier of The Championships.
Outside the aircraft, the airline has set up a dedicated activation area at Wimbledon. Visitors can take photos, enjoy interactive experiences, and enter prize draws. Fans can also participate in virtual tennis activities, such as the Emirates Cup on Roblox. The airline maintains support for international sports events through partnerships spanning tennis, football, cricket, rugby, sailing, cycling, horse racing, and more, including all four Grand Slam tennis tournaments.
