Udaipur Welcomes Akasa Air with New Direct Flights

Akasa Air has announced the launch of daily direct flights to Udaipur, further expanding its domestic network. The new services will commence on 15 October 2026, connecting Udaipur with Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Bookings for the new routes are now open through the airline’s website, mobile app and authorized travel agents.

The addition of Udaipur strengthens connectivity to one of India’s key tourism and hospitality destinations. The city continues to attract leisure travellers, destination weddings and experience-led tourism, while also witnessing growing demand from major metropolitan markets.

Commenting on the launch, Anand Srinivasan, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Akasa Air, said Udaipur is an important addition to the airline’s network due to its cultural significance and increasing demand for leisure travel. He added that the new direct services from Mumbai and Bengaluru will provide travellers with greater convenience while supporting the airline’s continued domestic expansion.

The airline said the launch reflects its strategy of expanding into destinations with growing travel demand while improving connectivity across India.
