NH Hotels & Resorts Debuts in Saudi Arabia with New Riyadh Hotel
Minor Hotels Expands Saudi Arabia Portfolio with NH Hotels & Resorts
Minor Hotels has announced the signing of NH Riyadh Prime Square Hotel, marking the debut of the NH Hotels & Resorts brand in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. Developed in partnership with Heyazah Real Estate Development, the hotel is scheduled to open in 2030 as part of the Prime Square mixed-use development in Riyadh.
Located in the King Fahad District along King Abdullah Road, the hotel will cater to both business and leisure travellers visiting the Saudi capital. The signing forms part of Minor Hotels’ continued expansion across the Middle East while supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plans to strengthen tourism and attract investment.
The hotel will feature 121 guestrooms and suites, including 80 King Rooms, 25 Deluxe King Rooms and 16 NH Suites. Facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a rooftop pool bar and lounge, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, a business centre and meeting spaces.
Prime Square has been planned as a mixed-use destination that combines hospitality, offices, retail outlets, cafés, restaurants, and lifestyle amenities around a landscaped central plaza. The development also benefits from convenient access to Al Wurud Metro Station and STC Metro Station, providing links to Riyadh’s commercial and leisure districts.
Amir Golbarg, Chief Operating Officer, Minor Hotels Middle East & Africa, said the signing represents an important step in introducing the NH Hotels & Resorts brand to the Middle East and reflects the company’s continued investment in Saudi Arabia’s growing hospitality sector.
Adel Ahmed Al-Saif, Chief Executive Officer of Heyazah Real Estate Development, said the collaboration combines hospitality, commercial and lifestyle offerings within a strategically located mixed-use development that supports Riyadh’s urban growth.
Established in 2005, Heyazah Real Estate Development is part of Ahmed Al-Saif Holding Group and has developed a portfolio of commercial, residential and mixed-use projects across Saudi Arabia. The company currently has approximately 621,000 square metres of completed developments and more than 1.1 million square metres under development.
The NH Hotels project comes as Saudi Arabia continues to invest in tourism infrastructure, economic diversification and visitor experiences. Riyadh is expected to welcome increasing numbers of business and leisure travellers as the city expands its role as a regional destination for business, tourism and events.
The addition of NH Riyadh Prime Square Hotel further strengthens Minor Hotels’ portfolio in Saudi Arabia and supports the company’s long-term growth strategy across the Middle East.
