Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay Appoints Chef Benjamin Halat as Executive Chef

Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay has announced the appointment of Chef Benjamin Halat as Executive Chef, effective May 1, 2026.
Chef Benjamin brings over two decades of international culinary experience across Europe and Asia. In his new role, he will lead the resort’s culinary operations across its dining venues, focusing on menu development, guest experience, and team leadership.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Executive Chef at Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich, where he was part of the leadership team during the hotel’s reopening. The property was recognised as “Hotel of the Year 2025” by Gault&Millau Schweiz. His career also includes experience across Germany, Switzerland, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, working with a range of international culinary teams.

He began his culinary journey with an apprenticeship at the Michelin-starred restaurant at Hotel Königshof Munich, building a foundation in classical techniques and kitchen operations.

Throughout his career, he has been associated with high-end dining environments and has contributed to award-winning culinary programmes. At Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay, he will oversee multiple dining concepts, including beachfront and specialty restaurants that highlight regional and international cuisines.
The resort’s signature restaurant, Sundara, has also received recognition, including a 2025 Global Recognition Award for its approach to hospitality and dining.
Chef Benjamin’s approach focuses on combining local ingredients and culinary traditions with contemporary techniques, while supporting team development and maintaining operational standards.
