W Goa Appoints Noel Mendes as Director of Operations

W Goa Hotel has announced the appointment of Noel Mendes as Director of Operations, reinforcing the resort’s focus on operational excellence and guest experience.

Mendes brings over 14 years of experience in luxury hospitality, with expertise in multi-venue operations, concept development, pre-openings, and profitability enhancement. He began his career in food and beverage and has held leadership roles with brands including Grand Hyatt, Renaissance, St. Regis, and Four Seasons.

His experience spans award-winning restaurants, bars, banqueting operations, and private residences, providing him with a broad perspective on luxury hospitality management. Over the course of his career, he has led large teams and managed extensive food and beverage operations, with a focus on revenue growth, cost optimisation, and service standards.

Mendes has also been involved in strategic initiatives such as pricing strategies, menu engineering, digital analytics, and sustainability practices, while maintaining a focus on food safety, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

In his new role, he will oversee operational functions across the resort, supporting business performance, service delivery, and overall operational strategy.
