Zostel Partnership with Safestay Supports European Travel Growth

Zostel has announced a partnership with Safestay that will expand its network across Europe and the UK, giving travellers access to 24 hostels in more than 20 destinations via Zostel’s booking platform.

Under the agreement, 24 Safestay hostels will be listed on Zostel.com, while 82 Zostel properties will appear on Safestay’s platform. Together, the combined network will cover more than 8,000 beds across Europe, the UK, India, Nepal and Thailand. Both companies will continue operating independently.

The partnership comes at a time when travel between India and Europe continues to grow, with more travellers planning multi-country itineraries that combine destinations across regions. The collaboration aims to simplify international travel planning and bookings while reducing reliance on third-party platforms.

Around 20 properties are expected to go live during the first phase in the coming week, while the complete rollout is scheduled to conclude by June 2026.

The partnership includes a common framework of operational standards focused on guest safety, room quality, fire safety, equality policies, safeguarding measures and data protection practices.
