The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru Appoints Abhirup Bagchi as Sales Manager

The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru – Hotel Conventions Residences has appointed Abhirup Bagchi as Sales Manager.

In his new role, Bagchi will be responsible for driving sales initiatives, managing key accounts, strengthening client relationships, and supporting revenue growth across rooms, events, and hospitality offerings.

Bagchi brings experience in hotel sales, business development, account management, and revenue generation across luxury and upscale hospitality brands. Prior to this appointment, he served as Assistant Sales Manager at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Convention Centre under the Accor portfolio, where he was involved in managing corporate accounts and supporting sales growth initiatives.

Before joining Accor, he worked with Greenpark Hotels and Resorts Limited as Assistant Sales Manager. He began his hospitality career as a Sales Management Trainee with the group, gaining experience in sales strategy, business development, and client servicing. During this period, he was associated with AVASA Hotels Hyderabad and was recognised as Management Trainee of the Quarter in 2023.

With a background spanning sales operations and business development, Bagchi brings a strong understanding of commercial strategy and client engagement to his new role.

His appointment reflects The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru’s focus on strengthening its commercial team and driving growth across corporate, MICE, and leisure segments.
