Aquarabia Opens New Water Park Experience in Saudi Arabia

Aquarabia Water Park Adds New Attraction to Qiddiya City

Aquarabia, the new water park within Qiddiya City, has opened its doors to visitors, adding another major leisure attraction to Saudi Arabia’s growing tourism and entertainment sector.

Located near Riyadh, the water park offers a mix of water rides, themed zones, family attractions and recreational facilities designed for both local residents and international visitors.

Eight Themed Zones Inspired by Saudi Landscapes

Aquarabia is divided into eight themed zones, each drawing inspiration from different aspects of Saudi Arabia’s landscapes and natural environment.

Areas such as Camel Rock, Viper Canyon, Herding Grounds, and Wave Wadi offer distinct experiences, ranging from water slides and rafting to wave pools and family-friendly activities. Other zones, including Surf Lagoon, Dhub Grotto and The Den, provide spaces tailored to younger visitors and those seeking a more relaxed experience.

The themed design allows visitors to explore different environments throughout the park while enjoying a variety of water-based activities.

Variety of Attractions Across the Park

The park features 22 rides and attractions, including water coasters, drop slides, wave pools, surf experiences and interactive water play areas.

Family pools and dedicated children’s zones are integrated throughout the park, creating options for visitors of different ages and interests. The layout encourages guests to move between attractions and experience multiple areas during their visit.

Designed for Families and Groups

Aquarabia has been developed to accommodate families, groups of friends and visitors seeking a full-day recreational experience.

Facilities include shaded seating areas, cabanas, dining outlets and retail spaces located across the park. These amenities are intended to support longer visits and provide convenient spaces for relaxation between activities.

Part of the Wider Qiddiya City Development

The water park forms part of the broader Qiddiya City entertainment project, located approximately 40 minutes from Riyadh.

Its proximity to attractions such as Six Flags Qiddiya City allows visitors to combine multiple experiences during a single trip. The location also offers access to nearby cultural destinations, including Diriyah and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At-Turaif.

Supporting Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Growth

The opening of Aquarabia reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing investment in tourism, entertainment and leisure infrastructure as the country continues to expand its visitor offerings.

By introducing a large-scale water park alongside other attractions within Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia is broadening the range of experiences available to domestic and international travellers.

A New Addition to Saudi Leisure Tourism

With its combination of themed environments, water attractions and family-focused facilities, Aquarabia provides another option for visitors exploring Saudi Arabia’s evolving tourism landscape.

The scale of the park and variety of experiences encourage guests to spend extended time within the destination and explore different areas across multiple visits.
