Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea at Shura Island Appoints Kai Dieckmann as General Manager

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea at Shura Island has appointed Kai Dieckmann as General Manager of the upcoming luxury island resort.
A seasoned hospitality leader, Kai Dieckmann brings international experience across the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. In his new role, he will lead the opening and overall operations of the resort, positioning it as a benchmark for regenerative luxury tourism in line with Red Sea Project and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 ambitions.
The resort is located on Shura Island along the Red Sea coast and will feature 149 rooms and suites along with 31 resort residences. Designed by Foster and Partners, the property is situated on a private stretch of beach and is connected via an overwater bridge.
Guests will have access to experiences including Shura Links, the island’s championship golf course, as well as marine and cultural activities such as diving, snorkelling, and stargazing. The resort will also offer multiple dining venues, wellness facilities including a spa and hammam, and a Marine Discovery Centre aligned with conservation initiatives.
Developed as part of Saudi Arabia’s western coastline transformation, the destination operates on renewable energy and emphasises sustainable tourism practices, reflecting a broader shift towards environmentally conscious luxury hospitality.
