Le Méridien Nagpur Appoints Surya Prakash as Sous Chef

Le Meridien Nagpur has announced the appointment of Surya Prakash as its new Sous Chef, strengthening the property’s culinary leadership team.

Prakash began his hospitality career as a Management Trainee with Mayfair Hotels & Resorts, where he progressed through multiple roles before joining the Le Méridien brand.

He later moved to Italy to gain international culinary experience, working in three-Michelin-starred kitchens. During this period, he trained under chef Massimiliano Alajmo, where he was exposed to advanced culinary techniques and global dining practices.
With experience across luxury hospitality and fine dining environments, Prakash brings a background in fusion cuisine, with a focus on combining international influences and contemporary cooking styles.
In his new position, Prakash will oversee kitchen operations, support menu development and contribute to the property’s food and beverage offerings. His appointment is expected to further strengthen the hotel’s culinary capabilities and enhance the dining experience for guests.
