amã Stays & Trails Growth with New Bungalows in Port Blair
Indian Hotels Company Limited has announced the signing of a cluster of bungalows under its amã Stays & Trails brand in Port Blair, marking the brand’s entry into the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL, said the move aligns with changing travel preferences towards experience-led stays and reflects the company’s approach to expanding its presence across leisure destinations. The project is being developed in partnership with Abhishek Singh.
The upcoming development will include 10 bungalows set within landscaped surroundings, within walking distance of Manjery Beach. Facilities are expected to include a restaurant, fitness centre, spa, yoga and meditation areas, and a swimming pool.
Guests will also have access to local experiences such as snorkelling and visits to nearby sites that reflect the region’s cultural and historical context.
amã Stays & Trails is a homestay offering by IHCL, with a portfolio of more than 370 bungalows across destinations including Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Pondicherry, Sikkim and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Abhishek Singh, Founder and Chairman of Terra Rex Realty and Terra Rex Energy, said the collaboration aims to bring together local experiences and hospitality in Port Blair, a destination known for its coastal landscapes and historical sites such as Cellular Jail and Chidiya Tapu.
