Lufthansa Introduces New Onboard Experience on Long-Haul Flights

Onboard Experience Update by Lufthansa Across All Cabins
Lufthansa has introduced a new onboard service concept for long-haul flights, covering First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. The rollout begins in May and applies across aircraft types and configurations.
The programme, named Future Onboard Experience (FOX), has been developed over two years and focuses on personalization, comfort and service consistency. The update includes changes to service processes, meal options and onboard amenities across all classes.
In Business Class, the updated service emphasizes dining, with revised menus and flexible meal times. Passengers can pre-select breakfast options and access a broader range of dishes during the flight. New tableware and service elements have also been introduced.
Premium Economy passengers will see changes to meal service, including additional course options and an expanded beverage offering. Additional comfort items, such as slippers, are also being introduced.
In Economy Class, the airline is introducing amenity kits with basic comfort items, updated tableware and an expanded meal choice on longer flights. Beverage options have also been revised.
The rollout involves updates to onboard equipment and service elements across Lufthansa’s global network, supported by operational changes and feedback gathered during test flights.
