Radisson Collection Launches in Hungary with New Hotel Near Budapest’s Basilica
Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Basilica Budapest, marking the brand’s debut in Hungary. Located in central Budapest, just 50 meters from the landmark St. Stephen’s Basilica, the property offers a design-forward hospitality experience that combines history with modern urban living.
Blending Heritage with Contemporary Style
Nestled in a restored neoclassical building that once served as a school, the hotel offers 71 rooms and suites. Many provide direct views of the Basilica, while all include bespoke furnishings, artwork, Wi-Fi, TVs, and other essentials for both leisure and business guests. Visitors also have access to a boutique fitness centre and two boardrooms for private meetings or collaborative sessions.

The hotel features three dining concepts, each designed for a specific moment of the day.
- Collection Café & Lounge offers barista coffee, house-made pastries, and light bites in a vintage-inspired setting.
- The Arc serves a variety of international dishes alongside local wines and seasonal drinks.
- ISSEI Skybar & Restaurant, perched on the rooftop, features Nikkei cuisine—a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian influences—served with panoramic views of the city.

Guests are well-positioned to explore the city’s rich contrasts, from the historic Buda Castle District to the vibrant Jewish Quarter and Liberty Square.
