Waldorf Astoria Residences Sarasota Launches Sales in Downtown Sarasota

Sales have officially commenced for Waldorf Astoria Residences Sarasota, marking the debut of the luxury brand’s first residential-only development in the city. Located in the heart of downtown Sarasota, the 18-storey tower introduces Waldorf Astoria–branded living to the market, with residences priced from USD 2.2 million.

Developed by Jebcore Companies in partnership with WMG Development, the project comprises 86 private residences ranging from one- to five-bedroom layouts. Homes feature expansive floor plans, approximately 14-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and curved terraces with glass railings. The building has been designed by ODP Architecture & Design, with interiors by Workshop/APD, combining contemporary functionality with understated materials and finishes.

Each residence includes designer kitchens equipped with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, large-format flooring, private elevator access, and concierge closets intended for secure and discreet deliveries. The tower is fully residential, with no hotel component, while still offering services associated with the Waldorf Astoria brand.

Residents will have access to more than 60,000 square feet of indoor amenities and shared spaces. These include the brand’s signature Peacock Alley Lounge, a library, private dining room, wellness centre with spa treatment rooms, Pilates and movement studios, infrared saunas, steam rooms, a golf simulator, theatre lounge, guest suites, and designated areas for children and teenagers. Outdoor amenities include a 25,000-square-foot elevated garden featuring a resort-style swimming pool, hot and cold plunge pools, landscaped lawns, shaded seating areas, and a pavilion with bar and grilling facilities.

The development occupies a prominent corner at Main Street and Pineapple Avenue, placing residents within walking distance of Sarasota Bay, the marina, cultural institutions, restaurants, and retail outlets. The location is positioned within Sarasota’s walkable downtown core, offering convenient access to both leisure and lifestyle amenities.

Sarasota continues to gain national and international recognition as a coastal destination, supported by its beaches, cultural offerings, and quality of life. Siesta Beach was ranked the top beach in the United States and fourth globally in TripAdvisor’s 2025 Best of the Best Beaches list. The city is also known for institutions such as the Ringling Museum, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Bayfront Park, and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.

Ownership at Waldorf Astoria Residences Sarasota includes access to Waldorf Astoria Signature Benefits, such as Hilton Honors Diamond status for the duration of ownership, preferred rates at Waldorf Astoria properties worldwide, dedicated concierge services, and select travel and lifestyle privileges.

Construction is expected to begin in late 2026, with completion anticipated in 2029. Sales are being exclusively represented by Michael Saunders & Company.

“This site was safeguarded with a long-term view well before the path forward was defined,” said Curt Frost, president and CEO, WMG Development. “We believed in the importance of protecting this corner of downtown Sarasota for the right use and were willing to take that risk in service of the city’s future. That commitment guided every decision that followed and ultimately led us to partners who shared our conviction that this site deserved something meaningful. Seeing that vision come to life in a project of this quality has been incredibly rewarding.”

“This launch represents years of intentional planning around what we view as the heart of downtown Sarasota and one of the most pivotal sites in the market,” said Sadek Omar, partner, Jebcore Companies. “In partnership with Waldorf Astoria, our focus was on creating something truly distinctive by assembling a team with the depth and caliber required for a site of this significance and applying a high level of discipline to every decision. From the way the building engages the street to the character of its residences and shared spaces, each element was considered with purpose. We take great pride in delivering a project that respects its context, reflects architectural integrity, and contributes lasting value to the city.”
