Rooftop Dining at Gemma Brings Pan-Asian Flavours to Beverly Hills

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills has introduced Gemma, a new rooftop dining and bar venue inspired by California and Pan-Asian flavours.

Located above the hotel with views of the Santa Monica Mountains, Beverly Hills and the Hollywood Sign, Gemma combines indoor and outdoor seating with an all-day dining concept that shifts from a relaxed daytime setting to an evening rooftop experience.

The menu has been developed by Chef Peleg Miron, drawing influence from Southeast Asia, Hawaii and Southern California. The offering includes dim sum, seafood, sushi, grilled meats and regional Asian dishes prepared with a contemporary Californian approach.

Signature dishes include Lobster Wonton with chilli ponzu, Chicken Makhani served with naan bread, Singaporean noodles with Maine lobster, and Beef Stir Fry with filet mignon and shiitake mushrooms.

The drinks programme, led by Beverage Director Jim Kearns, features cocktails inspired by tropical and Asian influences alongside rosé wines, sake selections and non-alcoholic beverages.

Gemma also serves rooftop brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering an à la carte menu with brunch dishes and cocktails.

The redesigned rooftop space has been created by designer Marc Ange, featuring warm earthy tones, custom lighting installations and a central stone-finished bar.

Gemma is located at 9850 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, California, and is open daily for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
