Koichiro Horiuchi, President and Representative Director, FUJI KYUKO Co., Ltd, said the hotel has a long-standing history as a resort destination near Mount Fuji and that the renovation will help introduce the property to a broader domestic and international audience.

The hotel will include multiple dining venues, hot springs, a sauna, a swimming pool, and access to activities in the Fuji Five Lakes region, including golf, lake cruises, and visits to Oshino Hakkai.

Guests visiting during certain seasons may also experience the “sea of clouds” phenomenon, where fog covers the surrounding landscape below the hotel.

Hotel Mount Fuji, Vignette Collection, can be reached by car from Tokyo in about 2 hours. Bus access is also available from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal, with a hotel shuttle service connecting guests to the property.
