APPOINTMENT
The Peninsula Hotels has announced the appointment of Feria Kazemi as Communications Director.
Based in Hong Kong, Feria holds extensive global experience in the hospitality industry. She joins The Peninsula with over ten years’ experience in international communications.
Most recently, she held the position of Head of Reputation and Industry Relations for the EMEA region at Google in London. Prior to this, she was Senior Communications Manager at Tripadvisor and Viator.
Feria Kazemi started her professional career managing media relations for the Ontario government. She then joined Apple, where she oversaw communications for the company’s Toronto headquarters.
In her new role, Feria Kazemi will be responsible for global campaigns aimed at raising awareness of The Peninsula brand. She will also play a key role as the official representative of the hotel brand.
Feria Kazemi holds a Master’s degree in International Communication and Development from the City, University of London, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Political Science from the University of Ottawa.
This appointment marks a significant chapter for The Peninsula Hotels in its international communications strategy, with an executive with solid expertise to support the brand’s expansion.
