Thailand Supports Inclusive Tourism at Bangkok Pride 2026
Bangkok Pride 2026 Highlights TAT’s Commitment to Inclusive Tourism
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) participated in the Love Pride Parade Bangkok 2026 on 31 May, reaffirming its commitment to promoting inclusive tourism and supporting Thailand’s efforts to welcome travellers from diverse communities.
The parade was part of the Bangkok Pride Festival 2026 and brought together representatives from government agencies, private-sector organisations, community groups and youth networks. The event also highlighted Bangkok’s preparations as it continues its bid to host WorldPride 2030.
The Love Pride Parade travelled from EmSphere to Thephasadin Stadium at the National Stadium complex, where the Road to Bangkok WorldPride 2030 opening ceremony took place.
Under the theme “Patch the World with Peace People Pride”, Bangkok Pride Parade 2026 celebrated diversity, equality and inclusion through six themed processions. These included Patch of Harmony, Patch of Unity, Patch of Identity, Patch of Dignity, Patch of Love, and Patch of Spirit, each represented by a different colour and message that reflects the values of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The celebrations concluded at the Pride Stage, where attendees enjoyed cultural performances and appearances by LGBTQIA+ artists and performers.
TAT said its participation reflects ongoing efforts to work alongside public- and private-sector partners to promote safe, welcoming and accessible travel experiences. The initiative also supports Thailand’s wider tourism strategy, which focuses on diversity, cultural exchange and hospitality.
Through events such as Bangkok Pride, Thailand continues to strengthen its reputation as a destination that welcomes visitors from all backgrounds and encourages meaningful, inclusive travel experiences.
