SWISS Launches Bengaluru Service in Winter 2026 Schedule
SWISS Bengaluru Route Expands India Network
Swiss International Air Lines will expand its long-haul network during the 2026/27 winter schedule with the launch of a new service to Bengaluru. The route will mark the airline’s first service to southern India and its third destination in the country after Delhi and Mumbai.
The airline will operate five weekly flights between Zurich and Bengaluru during the winter timetable period, which runs from 25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027.

According to SWISS, Bengaluru has developed into a major technology and innovation hub, with a strong presence of international and European companies. The airline said the new route is intended to support growing demand for business and leisure travel between Switzerland and southern India.
The eastbound LX140 service will depart from Zurich at 13:20 and arrive in Bengaluru at 02:55 the following day. The return LX141 service will depart Bengaluru at 04:50 and arrive in Zurich at 10:50 the same day. Flights will operate daily except Mondays and Wednesdays from Zurich, and except Tuesdays and Thursdays from Bengaluru.
SWISS also confirmed that its new Airbus A350 aircraft will be introduced on additional long-haul routes, including Johannesburg and Shanghai, following earlier deployment on Boston and Seoul services.
The airline expects to have five Airbus A350 aircraft in service by the end of the year. These aircraft will feature the airline’s updated SWISS Senses cabin product across all seating classes.
In addition to the Bengaluru launch, SWISS announced adjustments to its Geneva operations due to ongoing global shortages of aircraft and engine parts affecting the Airbus A220 fleet. Services from Geneva to Berlin, Hamburg and Pristina will not continue in the upcoming winter schedule.
During the 2026/27 winter season, SWISS plans to serve 88 destinations from Zurich and Geneva, including 24 intercontinental routes and 60 European destinations from Zurich.
