Emirates Eid Al Adha Services Feature Regional Cuisine and Entertainment

Emirates will mark Eid Al Adha from 26 to 29 May with themed onboard menus, desserts and entertainment across selected routes.

Passengers travelling in different cabin classes will be offered dishes inspired by regional and Middle Eastern cuisines. In First Class, the menu includes items such as lamb machbous, prawn morbian, lamb madfoon, and beef foga, all prepared with Emirati spices. Desserts include nammoura cake, rahash mousse cake and walnut baklava cake.

In Business Class and Premium Economy, travellers can expect dishes such as lamb chermoula and grilled chicken, alongside desserts inspired by regional flavours. Economy Class passengers will be served options such as chicken kabsa, lamb ouzi, daoud basha and beef sajiyeh, followed by cakes and desserts.

Emirates will also offer festive sweet items onboard during the Eid period. First Class passengers will receive an orange blondie and date cheesecake, while passengers in Business Class and Premium Economy will be served an orange cake with rose and pistachio, along with a date and walnut cake.

Passengers travelling on the Airbus A380 will also have access to a range of desserts and snacks in the onboard lounge, including baklava, pistachio maamoul, pomegranate cheesecake and profiteroles. Traditional Emirati coffee and dates will also be served onboard.

In addition to onboard services, Emirates lounges in Jeddah and Cairo will offer Eid-themed dishes and desserts between 27 and 29 May. Menu items include lamb mandi, Saudi salad, basbousa, baqlawa and kunafa.

During Eid Al Adha, passengers can also access entertainment content on Emirates’ ice platform, which offers up to 6,500 channels of on-demand content. This includes Arabic films, television channels, music, podcasts, audiobooks and religious programming, including The Holy Qur’an.
