SpiceJet has announced its entry into Imphal with the launch of scheduled flight services to the state capital, strengthening air connectivity to India’s North-East region. From February 10, 2026, the airline will operate daily flights to Imphal from Kolkata, Guwahati, and Mumbai, using Boeing 737 aircraft.

The new routes are intended to improve access to Manipur by offering more consistent and connected travel options for both business and leisure passengers. Flights from Kolkata and Guwahati will operate nonstop, while passengers travelling from Mumbai will have a single-aircraft journey with a brief stopover in Kolkata, without the need to change planes.

Manipur currently has limited air connectivity, and the introduction of daily services is expected to improve travel options for residents, students, medical travellers, government officials, and businesses. The new flights add capacity and provide additional scheduling choices for travel to and from the state.

Beyond direct connectivity to Kolkata, Guwahati, and Mumbai, the new services will also enable passengers to access onward connections via SpiceJet’s wider domestic network and selected international destinations, supporting smoother point-to-point and connecting journeys.
