SilverDoor has outlined recent technology updates aimed at improving access to live property content and accommodation rates on its online booking platform. The company has invested in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to increase the volume of live rates and inventory available to book online, while also enhancing reporting capabilities within its online booking tool (OBT) for clients and supply partners.

The RPA investment supports a new digital worker designed to accelerate the process of loading serviced apartment inventory onto SilverDoor’s booking platform. According to the company, the system is able to collect, process, and test live accommodation rates significantly faster than manual workflows, allowing new inventory from its global supply chain to be uploaded more quickly and efficiently.

The development responds to growing client demand for real-time access to rates and availability, as well as broader growth in the online travel market. By combining RPA with AI-driven enhancements, SilverDoor aims to improve how property content is gathered, validated, and presented to customers. In addition to onboarding new rate plans, the digital worker also reviews existing rates to help maintain accuracy and provide timely updates.

Improved data and rate processing supports a range of existing OBT features, including consolidated booking visibility, tools to track savings against market benchmarks, tailored analytics, and traveller tracking. Recent updates to the platform also include enhanced shortlist functionality for easier comparison of options and a new currency selector that allows users to view prices in preferred local currencies.

The RPA-powered digital worker functions as an extension of SilverDoor’s supply chain team, enabling faster rate processing and supporting more effective negotiations with property partners. This approach is intended to free up internal teams to focus on client needs and more complex booking requirements.
