Renaissance Hotels Open Renaissance Goa Hotel in North Goa
Renaissance Hotels has announced the opening of Renaissance Goa Hotel, expanding the brand’s presence in India’s leisure hospitality market. Designed for travellers seeking local context, connection, and cultural discovery, the hotel offers a neighbourhood-focused way to experience Goa.
Located in the Arpora valley, the hotel provides access to North Goa’s beaches including Baga, Anjuna, and Vagator, while offering a quieter setting away from the coastline. The location combines proximity to popular leisure areas with the calmer environment of a valley landscape.

Commenting on the opening, Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International, said the Renaissance Hotels brand focuses on connecting guests with the character of each destination. He noted that Goa continues to play an important role in Marriott’s leisure growth strategy in India, with an emphasis on neighbourhood-led experiences, design, and exploration aligned with current travel preferences.
Guest Rooms and Design

Renaissance Goa Hotel features 133 guest rooms and suites designed with contemporary interiors and locally inspired elements. Custom 3D art installations and brass floral cabinetry reference regional influences, while Family Rooms offer views of the surrounding valley. The rooms are complemented by spacious bathrooms and modern amenities aimed at supporting both leisure and extended stays.
Navigators and Local Experiences

In keeping with the Renaissance Hotels brand, the hotel introduces on-property Navigators who guide guests to locally rooted experiences. These include curated activities such as village visits to Divar Island, home-hosted Goan dinners, explorations of traditional feni, and guided walks through Fontainhas, Goa’s Latin Quarter.
Dining and Social Spaces

Culinary offerings are centred around The Bloom Kitchen, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant serving global dishes alongside Goan flavours. Casa Limone draws inspiration from coastal Italian cuisine, while Aerio, the rooftop pool bar, offers cocktails and light fare overlooking the valley.
The lobby-based R Lounge transitions from a café setting during the day to a cocktail space in the evening. It also hosts Evenings at Renaissance, a brand programme featuring music and social gatherings designed to reflect local culture.
Meetings and Events
The hotel offers nearly 8,000 square feet of flexible event space, including a ballroom and meeting rooms, suitable for destination weddings, social functions, and corporate events. Adaptable layouts and event technology support spaces.

Roopa Singh, General Manager, Renaissance Goa Hotel, said the property has been designed to reflect the energy and stories of North Goa. She noted that the hotel aims to encourage discovery through design, local engagement, and experiences that connect guests with the surrounding neighbourhoods.
With this opening, Renaissance Hotels continues to expand its lifestyle portfolio in India, with a focus on culturally informed stays and locally connected travel experiences.
