Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines Expand Codeshare Partnership

Qatar Airways Partnership Adds Connectivity and Loyalty Benefits with Philippine Airlines

Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines are expanding their strategic partnership through additional codeshare routes and new loyalty programme benefits for travellers across their networks.

From 1 June 2026, Philippine Airlines will place its PR code on Qatar Airways-operated flights from Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao to Doha. Through Qatar Airways’ hub at Hamad International Airport, passengers will gain access to more than 20 destinations in Europe, including Paris, Rome and Frankfurt.

As part of the agreement, the airline will also display its QR code on selected Philippine Airlines domestic services. This will enable international passengers arriving in Manila and Cebu to connect to destinations such as Caticlan and Puerto Princesa.

The partnership also includes collaboration between Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club and Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Miles loyalty programmes. Members of both programmes will be able to collect and redeem points across each airline’s network.

Privilege Club members can now use Avios on Philippine Airlines routes across Southeast Asia, Australasia and the United States, as well as domestic destinations within the Philippines, including Cebu, Clark and Davao City.

At the same time, Mabuhay Miles members will be able to earn and redeem miles on Qatar Airways flights to destinations across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

The expanded partnership is expected to support greater travel connectivity between the Philippines, the Middle East and Europe, while also strengthening access to regional leisure destinations within the Philippines.

Qatar recently received Platinum recognition from aviation analytics company Cirium for operational performance and reliability in 2025. Philippine Airlines was also recognized by Cirium as the Asia-Pacific’s most punctual airline for 2025.

Travellers can access more information about the partnership and loyalty programme benefits through the airlines’ official channels.
