Qatar Airways Expands Winter 2025 Network with Boosted Frequencies to 15+ Global Cities
Qatar Airways has announced a significant expansion of its winter 2025 flight schedule, increasing frequencies to more than 15 international destinations. The move reflects growing demand across key markets and the airline’s strategy to enhance connectivity through its hub at Hamad International Airport in Doha.
Among the highlights is an increase to up to 10 daily flights to London Heathrow—the airline’s highest-ever frequency to the UK capital—complemented by British Airways’ double-daily service.
The airline, named Skytrax’s Best Airline for 2025 for the ninth time, continues to focus on delivering enhanced travel options for both leisure and business passengers. In partnership with Virgin Australia, the carrier will also introduce new capacity on the Melbourne–Doha route, raising frequency to three daily flights. Additionally, flights to Canberra will resume, further strengthening air links between Australia and Qatar.

Enhanced In-Flight Connectivity
Qatar Airways continues to modernize its fleet, with 54 Boeing 777 aircraft now featuring free ultra-high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi available to all passengers. It is the first airline globally to offer this on such a large number of wide-body aircraft and the only carrier in the MENA region with this service.
Starlink installations are currently being extended to the Airbus A350 fleet, with full integration expected within the following year. Both Economy and Premium passengers benefit from gate-to-gate connectivity at speeds reaching up to 500 Mbps.
A Strategic Approach to Growth
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, commented:
“We continue to see increasing demand for our services across key destinations such as London, Dublin, Cape Town, and São Paulo. Our winter schedule reflects our efforts to provide more choice and flexibility to passengers, while improving connectivity through Hamad International Airport.”
By responding to global travel trends and aligning with market needs, Qatar Airways is reinforcing its role as a key player in the international aviation sector. The airline’s network and service offerings continue to evolve, providing travellers with wider options and enhanced convenience.
