PATA Renews Partnership with Euromonitor International to Support Data-led Tourism Planning in Asia Pacific
The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has announced a renewed preferred partnership with Euromonitor International, an independent provider of global business intelligence, market analysis, and consumer insights.
PATA noted that, in a period of rapid change and uncertainty, partnerships that generate comprehensive, forward-looking data insights play an important role in strengthening regional knowledge, leadership, and planning across the tourism sector.
By working with Euromonitor International, PATA aims to expand its ability to deliver insights that help stakeholders move beyond surface-level trends. Euromonitor International’s research and cross-sector expertise provide added context for understanding the factors shaping traveller behaviour, market competitiveness, and investment potential across the Asia-Pacific region.
The partnership is intended to support destinations and tourism businesses—both within PATA’s membership and across the wider industry—in making informed, evidence-based decisions that contribute to regional competitiveness and encourage sustainable and inclusive growth.
PATA CEO Noor Ahmad Hamid said, “The core purpose of PATA has always been to ensure that practical, expert-centric insights are accessible to members and the broader industry in the Asia Pacific region. Partnering with Euromonitor International strengthens this commitment, enabling us to provide greater context and clarity around the forces shaping travel across our region, supporting strategic tourism planning.”
He added, “We are pleased to begin this collaboration with Euromonitor International. Their global market expertise complements PATA’s regional focus, and together we aim to provide a clearer view of where the industry is heading over the next few years.”

Stephen Dutton, Global Travel Insight Manager at Euromonitor International, said, “Euromonitor’s partnership with PATA will support the evolving travel market. Through this collaboration, PATA and Euromonitor aim to help clients navigate market opportunities, identify growth potential and strengthen transparency through shared insights that support a sustainable and equitable approach to travel.”
As part of the partnership, Euromonitor International will contribute a dedicated analytical article to accompany the PATA Asia Pacific Destination Forecasts 2026–2028 reports. Each report will include a four- to five-page article presenting data-led global economic insights from Euromonitor International.
The publication will also be supported by a forecast webinar, giving PATA members and industry professionals an opportunity to better understand the analysis and its implications.
PATA and Euromonitor International will also explore additional opportunities for collaboration to deliver further value to members and the broader tourism industry.
