Travel Mart 2027 Strengthens PATA and Macao Collaboration

Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has confirmed that PATA Travel Mart 2027 will be held in Macao from 20 to 22 September 2027. The event will be hosted by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), continuing a long-standing collaboration between the two organizations.

This marks the return of the association’s flagship travel trade event to Macao after several years. The destination has previously hosted the event and other Pacific Asia Travel Association gatherings, reflecting an ongoing working relationship between the organisations.

Pacific Asia Travel Association CEO Noor Ahmad Hamid said the event builds on previous engagements in Macao and ongoing cooperation with MGTO, including support for the PATA Gold Awards. He noted that preparations are underway to bring together exhibitors and buyers from across the association’s global network.

MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes said the event will provide an opportunity to present recent developments in Macao’s tourism sector, with a focus on diversification. She added that hosting the event supports connections between regional and international tourism stakeholders.

Pacific Asia Travel Association Travel Mart is a three-day travel trade event focused on business meetings, networking, and market access across the Asia Pacific. PTM 2027 will include pre-scheduled appointments between buyers and sellers, along with opportunities to build professional relationships and partnerships.

The programme will also feature an insight forum covering current tourism trends, the PATA Gold Awards 2027, and a series of networking functions alongside the main exhibition.
