Novotel Goa Appoints New Director of Finance

APPOINTMENT

Novotel Goa Resort & Spa and Novotel Goa Candolim have appointed Amit Baranwal as the new Director of Finance. Amit has over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

As the finance director, Amit’s main priorities will be to ensure financial stability, optimize profitability, and enhance operational efficiency with specific, tailored initiatives to improve the hotel’s overall performance. He will also play a key role in implementing financial forecasting, technology integration, sustainability initiatives, risk management, and revenue diversification.

A qualified chartered accountant with a passion for numbers, Amit’s future professional path has already been set. His previous role as Financial Controller at Hyatt Regency Kolkata furthered his experience, putting him in charge of overseeing financial reporting, cost-saving measures, and cash flow optimization. Amit is keen on enhancing his culinary skills and travelling the world outside of work.
