Shanali De Silva, Complex Director of Marketing & Communications

Shanali De Silva has been appointed as Complex Director of Marketing & Communications at Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City, V Hotel Dubai by Curio Collection by Hilton, and Al Habtoor Palace, a Preferred Hotels & Resorts property.

The appointment reflects Al Habtoor Group’s focus on strengthening its hospitality portfolio in Dubai.

De Silva brings experience in hospitality marketing and brand strategy, along with exposure to multi-property operations in Dubai’s hotel sector. She has been recognised among the Top 10 Hospitality Marketers in the Middle East.

In her new role as Complex Marketing & Communications Director, she will lead marketing, communications, public relations, social media, and brand strategy across the Al Habtoor City hotel portfolio. Her responsibilities include aligning brand positioning across Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City, V Hotel Dubai, and Al Habtoor Palace, while maintaining their individual identities.

Her focus will also include strengthening digital and content marketing initiatives aimed at engaging evolving consumer segments.

Prior to this appointment, De Silva was involved in the digital transformation of 25hours Hotel Dubai and worked on the rebranding of Th8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort.

Her role will include working with internal teams and external partners to support brand visibility and communication strategies across the properties.

This appointment marks a transition in leadership for marketing and communications across Al Habtoor City Hotels.
