Marriott Bonvoy Launches Outdoor Platform and Collection Brand, Opening New Pathways to Adventure

Marriott International has unveiled Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors, a new digital platform designed to simplify the way travelers discover and book adventure-focused trips. With access to more than 450 hotels, 50,000 Homes & Villas, and curated tours and activities, the platform allows guests to plan based not just on where they want to go, but what they want to do—whether skiing, hiking, biking, surfing, or scuba diving.
Alongside the launch, Marriott introduced the Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy™, a curated portfolio of stays that combine nature access with modern comforts. The first two brands in the Collection are Postcard Cabins—offering over 1,200 Scandinavian-inspired cabins near U.S. National Parks—and Trailborn Hotels, boutique properties in destinations such as the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Grand Canyon, and Wrightsville Beach.
To engage adventure-seekers, Marriott Bonvoy has partnered with TV personality and filmmaker Dylan Efron to launch the Drop Pin Challenge, a treasure hunt across 20 outdoor destinations in the U.S. and Canada, offering up to 10 million Marriott Bonvoy points in rewards.

“We built Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors to help people, whether that’s cresting a mountain trail, catching the perfect wave, or simply finding quiet under the stars,” said Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer, Marriott International. “Travel is at its best when it speaks to who we are and what we love. It’s about reconnecting with yourself and the people you love in the places that inspire you most. With the new Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy, our curated Marriott Bonvoy Moments, and even playful activations like the Drop Pin Challenge with Dylan Efron, we’re not just offering places to stay, we’re opening doors to experiences that inspire, connect, and stay with you forever.”
The launch also includes exclusive Marriott Bonvoy Moments in partnership with Outside Interactive, offering immersive adventures such as kayaking in the Maldives, snorkeling in Belize, and hiking in Hawaii.
With Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors, the company aims to redefine the journey—making it not only about where travelers go, but how they connect with the world along the way.
