Mandarin Oriental, Macau has announced the appointment of Kai Jansen as its new General Manager.

Kai Jansen has been appointed as the new General Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Macau. He brings many years of experience in the hospitality industry.

He started his career as a restaurant intern in his hometown. Later he completed his studies and gained professional experience across hotels in Shanghai, China, and Germany.

Kai joined the Mandarin Oriental brand in the year 2014 with the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo and grew in ranks. Later, he joined the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur as Director of Food and Beverage where he oversaw the hotel’s entire food and beverage department, culinary operations and management.

Before joining Mandarin Oriental, Macau, Kai was Hotel Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Munich from 2021 to 2023. He most recently led the pre-opening team at Mandarin Oriental, Savoy Zurich.
