Lufthansa Expands Allegris Network with New Long-Haul Routes
Allegris Cabin to Debut on Additional Lufthansa Destinations from Winter 2026/27
Lufthansa is set to expand the rollout of its Allegris cabin concept across its long-haul network during the 2026/27 winter schedule, adding several new destinations from its Frankfurt and Munich hubs.
The airline’s Allegris cabin, introduced in 2024, features redesigned seating, upgraded interiors and enhanced onboard technology across all travel classes. Following the introduction of a revised inflight service on long-haul routes earlier this year, Lufthansa plans to extend the product to more international destinations.
From Frankfurt, Lufthansa will introduce Allegris-equipped services to Vancouver, Houston, Denver, Atlanta, Detroit, San José, Seoul and Kuala Lumpur. The new Frankfurt–Kuala Lumpur route will launch on 25 October, operating five times a week.
The airline will deploy its Boeing 787-9 aircraft on the Kuala Lumpur service. The aircraft features 287 seats across three travel classes and includes the Allegris cabin. The same aircraft type is scheduled to operate flights between Frankfurt and Chennai from March.
From Munich, Lufthansa will introduce Allegris on services to Singapore from late October, to Washington from March 2027, and to Cape Town.
Alongside the expansion of Allegris, Lufthansa will increase frequencies on several international routes during the winter season. These include services from Frankfurt to Rio de Janeiro, San José, Bogotá, Lagos and Hyderabad, as well as routes from Munich to São Paulo, Mexico City, Johannesburg and Washington.
