Lemon Tree Hotels Adds New Property in Madhya Pradesh

Branching Out: Lemon Tree Hotels Grows in Madhya Pradesh

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of its latest property, Lemon Tree Hotel, Ujjain, which is set to open in 2027. Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, will manage the hotel. Ujjain, known as the “Spiritual Capital of India,” is a historic city in Madhya Pradesh revered for its religious and cultural significance.

The hotel is about 50 km from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport in Indore and only 4 km from Ujjain Railway Station

The upcoming Lemon Tree Hotel in Ujjain will feature 72 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, and other public amenities. Conveniently located, the hotel is approximately 50 kilometres from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport in Indore and just four kilometres from Ujjain Railway Station, with public and private transport connectivity.

During the event, Vilas Pawar, CEO of Managed & Franchise Business at Lemon Tree Hotels, stated, “Spiritual destinations have seen a renewed interest, and there has been a marked increase in the number of pilgrims visiting places of religious and spiritual significance. Ujjain, known as the ‘Spiritual Capital of India,’ is a must-visit destination for pilgrims, and we are excited to expand our presence in the city.” This new opening will add to our four existing hotels and two upcoming hotels in the state.
