Kochi Marriott Hotel appoints Sri Ram Kumar V as Director of Engineering

Kochi Marriott Hotel has announced the appointment of Sri Ram Kumar V as Director of Engineering.

Sri Ram Kumar brings over 14 years of experience in hospitality engineering operations, including exposure to hotel pre-openings, project management, preventive maintenance, and energy management across properties in India and the Middle East.

In his new role, he will oversee engineering and maintenance functions at the hotel. His responsibilities include implementing preventive maintenance practices, supporting sustainability initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining operational continuity across technical systems. He will also work in coordination with internal teams on safety protocols and emergency preparedness.

His experience includes managing engineering operations, optimising energy usage, and maintaining service standards across the properties he has been associated with.
