JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa Appoints Shiva Kalra as Associate Director of Food & Beverage

JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa has appointed Shiva Kalra as Associate Director of Food & Beverage, effective February 2026.
In his new role, Kalra will oversee the resort’s entire F&B portfolio, including restaurants, bar operations, in-room dining, and destination dining experiences. He will focus on driving revenue performance while enhancing guest experience in line with the brand’s luxury standards.

Kalra brings over 13 years of experience across luxury hospitality brands in India, the Maldives, and the Gulf. He began his career with The Oberoi Rajvilas and Fairmont Dubai, building a foundation in service excellence before taking on leadership roles at Fairmont Jaipur, Conrad Bengaluru, InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram, and Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, Goa.

During his tenure at Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa, he led the all-day dining outlet to become one of the brand’s top-performing revenue outlets. He has also received recognition for guest satisfaction, including Platinum Club acknowledgements for guest feedback.
Kalra previously worked with JW Marriott Mussoorie as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, where he contributed to maintaining high guest satisfaction scores and supported the property in achieving top rankings within the APEC region.
Most recently, he served as Assistant F&B Manager at Oblu Select Sangeli in the Maldives, where he maintained strong audit scores across guest satisfaction, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Kalra holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Annamalai University and a degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM Jodhpur. His professional certifications include WSET Level 1 & 2 in Wines, ServSafe Food Safety Manager certification, and training credentials in hospitality operations.
