JourneyHub Hotels Appoints Manish Pratap as Area General Manager – Phuket

JourneyHub Hotels has appointed Manish Pratap as Area General Manager for Phuket. He will be based at Mercure Phuket Patong and will oversee the group’s operations in the region, along with supporting the upcoming opening of Mövenpick Kamala, Phuket.

In this role, Pratap will be responsible for managing multi-property operations, strengthening operational processes, and supporting the group’s expansion plans in Phuket.

Pratap brings close to two decades of experience in hospitality, with a background in hotel operations, pre-openings, and multi-property management. He began his career in India, where he held senior roles with Grand Hyatt and InterContinental.

He later moved to the Middle East and worked with Mövenpick in Doha. More recently, he has been based in Thailand, with experience across hospitality brands including Dusit Thani, Centara, and MGallery.

His experience spans multiple markets and brand segments, with exposure to operational management and regional hospitality dynamics.

JourneyHub Hotels operates a portfolio of properties across Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, and Chiang Mai, including both independent hotels and partnerships with international brands. The group continues to focus on expanding its presence while aligning operations with local market characteristics.

The appointment reflects the group’s focus on strengthening leadership in Phuket and supporting its ongoing development initiatives in the region.
